my lg was fine on the wall, the cables were bit squished but it was fine...

Aye, LCD's and Plasma's I've had no problem with for the wallmounting. Hell, even their LED's are fine on tilt and swing, but getting one of their LED's on a low profile flush wall bracket, and still being able to get to the connections or even just put a SCART on, without any wall "modification", is damn near impossible

In this situation, the Samsung's design is much smarter.
Random's using a tilt & swing anyway so he should be fine with either =)

The samsung LED i have has a transparent stand with a cylinder that connects the tv to the base of the stand. Looks really nice - Have saw the spider ones you speak of and they look odd.

Menu's etc on mine are all really simple too. Press the source button and choose from TV, XBOX, BLUERAY and USB MEDIA.

Oh aye I like them both, I just prefer LG for some reason ;p TBH TV menu's in general are never difficult, they're meant for old people and stuff =P Yeah the spider stand is a new-ish thing. Some people like them, some don't. They tend to look better in person than on pics tho I find =)
