CS should be free tbh, its just another mod of the source engine at the end of the day.

Saw a huge patch just went out yesterday, might give it a bash and see where its at tomorrow.

I bought it. I hope it's not another CS:S which I only played for a few hours and then went back to 1.6.

Haven't played the beta all that much but I liked it a lot more than source.

Only played for 45mins so far, since I'm busy helping someone move.
But I think I like it so far. Recoil and shooting feels a lot like 1.6.

The only problem I have so far, it's hard to distinguish CT from T. But since I've read a lot of comments about that I'm guessing they might fix it.

Been playing it since early beta.

Its came on a lot since we got our hands on keys, but it's still not grabbed me in like the other CS's have. Probably need to sink more time into and play some 5v5s.

Here's a config that will make life a bit easier adjusting to CSGO:

Make an autoexec.cfg file in your Global Offensive folders in steam and copy and paste the below. I added my buy binds in below too, edit to what yours normally are ofc. When in game type exec autoexec in console and bob's your uncle.

Or you could just add all to your basic config file

Definately helps. Also make sure Vsync and mouse accelaration are turned off in options.

Damn me for having the WoW bug again in this amazing time for competitive fps.
Haven't' played CS:GO in a long time, haven't played MvM...
Anyways, I liked CS:GO and from what I've seen it only got better since the early beta.
The thing about me I always liked 1.6 and never adjusted to CSS. Couldn't play 1.6 because it's horrid looking and couldn't play source because I thought it was too "random" for me. So I kinda stopped playing CS.
GO is somewhat in between and maybe it will rekindle some of my passion for it.
Aaaand if not, I always have TF2 to fallback on.
