Not really a part of the family anymore but I do like me some forum talk.
It's hard to judge something I myself haven't been able to achieve properly. I've tried realistic coloring a couple of times, but can't blend and smudge and whatnot as good the people in the tutorials I watch. Step-by-steps in art are a dizzying affair.
With the girl, yes, her mouth is crooked, but also her chin doesn't align well with the rest of her face. Move it some to the left, if you plan to change it. Chin's too curvy, also, I think. Like a girly John Travolta.
The boy: dunno. I guess I wouldn't expect his eyebrows to be so dark, but I'm sure you aren't finished. Otherwise they're done well.
