i can't find any reason for that to happen in IE and IE only. The code should work in either there is nothing that is considered browser specific in it. It's simply a form that posts data to a database via php post method. So it is entirely serverside really.

Any further info that could track down any possible cause would be great. It seems to be random at best, i've tried it like several times now and its only failed once, and that was on the 64bit version.

Firefox wahey.

I use chrome because when firefox3 came out it started using rediculous amounts of my ram to run it, its prolly been fixed now but I've never had a problem with chrome so I never saw the reason for me to switch back

If i type in the shoutbox and hit enter it goes to another page with just the shoutbox in the top left corner but the stuff i typed is gone. Works fine if i type then click shout button.
