Fair enough it's a safer forum etc, but I've always hated the cluttered PHP sites. Is there any alternative?

Nothing wrong with PHPBB. But I've always been a fan of Invision boards if it comes to it.

if u go to user control panel there are a few other themes that are a bit more spread out than this one.

However, phpbb is the best board there is, invision is ok but simply a pain in the arse, plus u gotta pay for it nowadays =(

I never paid for it =P Anything is free if you want it to be. I always knew how to use Invision better so maybe that's why I like it; my old CB clan's forum was IPB for years so I never had a need to try PHPBB. When I eventually did the Admin CP just confused me.

But as for the general users PHP probably looks better. What we need is a clan skin for the forum, not a dodgy stock one. I think people would prefer it then.

yea the acp on it failed, and depending how long ago t was, it probably was free. They only changed it to a payment system like a year ago, maybe 2 now, i forget.

i blame king for that, he prolly made them do it !
