i use the port 21, not the 27500.. is any problem for use that port?
i add the lines log on and log adress in autoexec.cfg in gameserver..
i executed the script with crob jobs on run_hlstats and it said:
"Starting ELstatsNEO...
PID file created
Started successfully"

Isn't port 21 the standard one? ;p
Dunno why that should be the issue.
Could be the webhost itself imo.

Some webhosts are slow at times, once transferred a file over FTP, just to only find it more 24 h later. :p

port 21 is FTP port, so yes there's a problem using that port. Also you need to make sure that the perl script is running, and using the same port configuration. This is what collects the data.

yup.. so i change on hlstats.conf port to 27500..
i must change now on gameserver in autoexec..
i send a ticket to webhost admin to open port 27500.. and he said this:

"There is nothing running on our port 27500, so of course it responds with an error. That does not mean that it is blocked. Even if we were running a firewall, the firewall would block inbound traffic, not outbound, which is what you are trying to do. You are trying to connect to port 27500 not OURS but on the gameserver. This is an outbound connection, and nothing blocks that on our part

Regards"

can you explain me this? cause or i am wrong or he didn't understand my problem..
gameserver must send data to my webhost..
to port 27500..
so this must be open, it isn't?

just the webhost must have 27500 port open. and the webhost must be running the perl script to recieve the data.
