After Effect

So, ordered a 'refurbished' motherboard on Friday which I wouldn't normally do however this time I needed one with exactly the same chipset so I could just boot right back into windows without reinstalling and rescue some important files (Uni dissertation/CP). It came today, and it's 'as new condition' included 12 bent CPU pins and a CPU socket full of fluff from a cloth or something. Safe to say it didn't work.

Moral of the story; don't buy refurbished shit.

My dad bought a refurb Dell XPS M1710 laptop. Came in its orginal box, a brand new LCD, keyboard and Hard Drive was fitted and looked brand new. Tried it out and was perfectly alright.

Refurb isn't always that bad, you may have just been unlucky =( I usually get that.
