So i got dayz now, managed to get into our server, and no weapons or nothing to defend myself with at start point, is it supposed to be like that couse i get raped by zombies if i move a few hundred meter in any direction......

yeah you start with nothing. You need to crouch using X and walk slowly using shift

aha, then i dont have to think about that then, got some error message about weapons so tought i bugged out but if it supposed to be that way ill sneak arround some then.

you find everything in Dayz, so bags, guns,etc all need to be looted from buildings. zombie wise, best bet is just to rambo it into the nearest town/village and hope for a gun then just kill them once your equipped. Google dayz db maps, and find out where you are like. Helps alot. And like iain says playing with people is so much better/different!

I prefer sneaking to the nearest dear stalker or two, unless I'm really close to a town then I just sneak to the fire station/school to try and get a pistol.

does one have to find a map to be able to use that function? Because when i open my map its all black so i got no clue where i am at all :S

you need to find a map to be able to use it.

The best thing to do is run to a town and find a signpost, look at the town name and find it on the map. That will get your bearings. You always spawn down at the south coast aswell btw.

alrighty then, thx
