Did anyone else know that Charlie Sheen's replacement is Ashton Kutcher.....odd one if you ask me.

A life, Jimmy. You know what that is? It’s the shit that happens while you’re waiting for moments that never come.

Is anyone really really smart and can answer this?

"What is the name of the principle employed by early astronomers to determine the distances to celestial objects using the displacement of the apparent position of an object viewed along two different lines of sight and measured by the angle between those two lines?"

It's basic triangulation no?

Think they just measured the angle between us, the sun & the object at both extremes of Earths orbit around the sun, and then knowing what Earths orbit is (i.e. 1 AU) you can use trig to work out how far away the other object is.

Sure Google will have something about it.

If genuinely interested check out a series called "Understanding the Universe". Bit (a lot) geeky, but really interesting.
