Most modern games are tending to offload a lot on the GPU rather than the CPU which is a nice move tbh, obviously a decent CPU still helps. My setup is similar to randoms but with a Q6600 Quad Core and the OC2 version of that card. And i i can run games at that res with decent FPS, however wow doesn't cooperate =P

tried to make one on alternate.nl, which is one of the best shops in holland.
anyway this one is 750€ but i couldnt seem to get the same cpu in it with that configurator, so the price should be 30€ higher then this one

I have no idea why u keep on bashing that intel and nvidea should have better performance/price ratio :/ It's like saying IPhone has the best smartphone, just cause of the big brand name. Stop being such a fanboy :p

just look up some reviews, benchmarks and its all pretty clear to me.... AMD is atm the better gamer choice

As an aside, I bought the Samsung i900h/Omnia as it was touted as being an 'iPhone Killer' with reviews placing it miles ahead of the iPhone. Oh how I regret that decision.

Oi you keep going on about fanboy stuff, but your the one like a fly round shite when it comes to ATi, defended it to the bitter end!

Let me tell you why I will never buy another ATI card again.

From personal experience with ATI, when i got my new pc from Overclockers.co.uk, booted it up, nothing but postcode errors. Sent it back - RMA came back: Faulty GFX card.

Got a replacement, when i tried to play COD4, I couldn't, down to crappy unstable drivers that would lagg every like 5 sec's then black out to desktop. Searching the error I got it was a common problem on vista and their was no solid answer on how to solve the issue - even from ATI support didnt have a definative answer.

3 days or so later the gfx card dies again.

So at this point had enough, sent it back and sure enough RMA: Graphics card confirmed as faulty. Got my money back and bought the Nvidia BFG GTX260 or w/e it is can't remeber exactly, and has zero issues since. The only difference of 2 cards is slighly lower FPS on the nvidia card, nothing thats ultimately gamebreaking off a difference.

Am not exgeratting about anything above ethier, you'll all prob remeber me moan about them at some point on TS, so this is why I will always recommend Nvidia and not ATI, got feck all to do with what some nerds bashing ATI on tech websites say.

Plus all the ati cards of personally had experience with have either broken, had serious driver flaws, overheated, or simply not worked straight out the box. Hence, i'll never buy another ATI card. Ever.

Edit, and while i wrote this rza posted that too, see two different people with very similar problems with ATI, clearly ur the fan boy sticking with them after such obvious faults =P

And also, should add, I have an Iphone aswell and nothing I've seen even comes close to it terms of what I use it for - fast internet, quality video playback, plenty of memory, tonnes of applications that go beyond anything else on any other phones pretty have. The stuff is pretty much endless on it.

The only factor is the Price.

Seeing as your basically typecasting me and others here as people who'll buy anything you see on TV - Your jumping on the bandwagon looking at it from the point of view of all these elitist assholes from websites who will do anything to bash a company purely because its mainstream and making money.
