Apparently there was a fault in the cables/lines/BRAAIINNwaves with my broadband, so says the useless cunt from sky helpline. I did a line test on dslreports and i'm getting 75% packet loss, i want my packets back and if they don't "repair it by tonight" i'll have to shout at them down the phone again.

Other than that, AYE.

75% packet loss?
If they don't get it fixed soon u should get some compensation. =/
I'd only tolerate shit like that if the dsl was free. XD

lolz "line test" the only thing they do is probably a ping.

which is sending 4 small packets of 64 bytes.

so ye if 3 out of 4 fails just at that given time you'd have 75% loss :p

I've had it 2, they just replaced my router and that fixed it. Doesnt mean you got the same problem ofcourse ^^. Something like that can have many different causes. But most likely it will be a physical problem

I guess I could ask them to send a replacement out and see what happens..

Is sky still gay and doesn't let you use your own router?

I could be wrong about this, but you cant use your own router. It's not a real router either, its more a decoder & encoder

maybe this is the case only for cable and not dsl, not 100% sure about this tho :D
