At my school, they give every student within my line (Media and communications) a 13 inch Macbook Pro, so basically you have 200 students with them, fully equipped with Adobe and all else. Ofc, I had to give it back now that school is over, my last year. DAMN!!!!

Now I have to buy a Macbook Pro... I can't go back without being with a laptop, specially a macbook which is thin, average weight and just awesome. And Apple just makes good lookin' hardware... I'm a sucker for good designs.

Only at the end of this half year, as I was watching the Apple conference, did I remember that there was a Mac store where I could get some fun apps. But then there was little meaning in equipping a mac with apps which I've had to give up.

I second your comments Baby-Boo, When I done design work for a year the company I worked with exclusively used mac's and I adored using them instead of windows.

90% of people who shit on mac's haven't even used them, or those that have, haven't had any prolonged use with them to really make any sort of comment when they've been using windows for 99.9% of their life.

Goes without saying though, I'd be sitting with a Mac infront of me now if they didn't have some major drawbacks: Support for gaming is generally pretty bad and of course the biggest factor is price/performance, I can't justify paying £400 more for a Mac when I can buy a pimped out windows system for 10x less.

Still, Apple > Windows.
