so yeah i have downloaded gta4 and i have some technical problems, such as bad shadows etc. on the web i saw some commands u can add to the game in order to help u having better frame rate, textures etc.
does anyone have problems with that game?

i am trying to add commands like -windowed -texturequality=2 -renderquality=4 -detailquality=99 -viewdistance=99 -width=1400 -height=900 on the gtalauncher but nothing different happens, also they recommended to make a new file on the main gta folder and named it "commandline.tx" and put the commands inside but nothing happens as well..

Over 50% of the ones who got GTAIV for the PC are having problems, crashes, graphical problems, glitches etc. Their making a patch to fix it. Otherwise don't know anything more.

Have you updated your graphics driver? Have a look for the patch. I know there is a link on shacknews.com but i cant get on that right now.

i got the cracked one and its got the drunk camera affect on it non stop, god it makes your head sore after 20 seconds.

The developers put things like that in the game deliberatly so copies that weren't DRM activated would be dodgy. And won't be completeable.
